How different would our employee work world be if employees always worked hard to provide good service, were completely honest and forthcoming on job applications and resumes, and theft of goods and cash did not occur?
We work in a society where one-third of resumes contain errors; a workplace society where criminal investigations of airport employees do not occur unless resume “anomalies” are found promoting lax airport security. A workplace society where only some employers conduct real background checks.
Our services below are designed to help you make effective and hiring decisions and maintain top-talent for your organization.
Behavioral/DISC Testing
Our Behavioral/DISC assessments include the TTI Success InsightsTM reports, a family of three different comprehensive web-based DISC assessment options. The results of these assessments reveal an individual’s high and low placement in each of the four dimensions that make up their unique natural and adapted behavioral styles. This is depicted by two illustrations, TTI’s Style Insights® Graphs and the Success Insights® Wheel.
Cognitive Skills Testing
The Thurstone Test of Mental Alertness (TMA) instrument is a mental ability test that helps measure an individual’s ability to learn new skills quickly, adjust to new situations, understand complex or subtle relationships, and be flexible in thinking. This instrument helps assess an individual’s capacity to learn and understand the requirements of the job. In addition to often being the strongest predictor of individual job performance, the TMA can help reduce overall turnover by helping to improve the effectiveness of hiring and placement decisions.
Background Checks
Conducting background checks is also a way to confirm the validity of information in a resume or employment application. This way, companies can stay assured that the employee can perform the job well and is reliable.
Reference Checks
Checking references before making an offer can actually save time, money, effort, and a lot of embarrassment. You will be pleasantly surprised how candid past employers may be in providing useful information. It is important to keep in mind that since all applicants must be treated fairly, you will need to conduct reference checks on all applicants you are considering for the position.
Drug Tests
Companies have a moral and legal obligation to ensure that their employees adhere to Federal work-safety guidelines, and pre-employment drug screenings can be an effective tool.
