Horizon Expands to CVB’s & Chambers

Talent Acquisition Firm to Target Convention & Visitors Bureau / Chamber of Commerce Industry

As the President of Horizon Hospitality, I’m pleased to announce that we’re expanding into the Convention & Visitors Bureau/Chamber of Commerce talent acquisition market segment.

The timing is right to make an impact in a market segment that is a natural extension to our current business.  In recent years, America’s service industry has fueled tremendous growth in the tourism, meetings and trade show industries.  Likewise, cities nationwide have rallied around local Chambers to improve commerce and job creation.  Our goal is to assist local leaders in securing America’s finest talent to staff prominent positions in both of these niches.

I founded Horizon Hospitality in 1998.  Since then, we’ve rapidly built our company to become the leading nationwide provider of top-tier talent for hotels, resorts, country clubs and restaurants.  We plan to become a major contributor in the success and prosperity of Convention and Visitors Bureaus, as well as Chambers of Commerce, nationwide.

To spearhead our expansion plans, I’ve appointed Dave Nolan as Executive Vice President of our new division.  Dave brings over 30 years of hotel, convention and visitor bureau, and chamber of commerce experience to the firm.  He brings a wealth of passion, first-hand knowledge and industry experience to this new role and will help make Horizon Hospitality the most hospitable and effective organization in the talent acquisition business.  I hope you will join me in welcoming Dave to our team.

We’ll officially kick off the opening of our new division at this year’s Destination Marketing Association International Convention on July 20-22 in New Orleans.  We hope to see you there!
