Cathy Loudon heads up Horizon’s HR Solutions Division which is focused on providing cutting-edge Human Resource Solutions and Services to our clients across the country.
Prior to joining Horizon, Cathy served as Director, HR Business Partner for Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. During her time at Truman, Cathy was responsible for developing and implementing a Strategic Business Partner role into the organization. In this role she worked with key business leaders on all elements of HR Services, including employee relations, performance management, organizational alignment and team building. One of her key accomplishments was introducing values and behaviors into the culture to drive a more customer-centered approach.
Prior to her involvement with Truman Medical Centers, Cathy served as Director Human and Organization Development for the City of Olathe (KS). During her time at the City of Olathe, Cathy directed strategic and tactical programs to support day-to-day human resource management for city with 900+ employees in 11 departments.
For three years at Black & Veatch (a 7,500 person global engineering firm), Cathy served as Manager of Organization Effectiveness. During this time she managed B&V’s Succession Planning program which included identification and development of critical talent; dashboard of bench strength gaps and calibration of talent pools.
Prior to Black & Veatch, Cathy worked at Sprint’s World Headquarters as Lead Project Manager for Emerging Leadership Programs. Cathy was responsible for the recruitment of executive-level talent from top 10 B-schools. She also developed mentoring program, rotation evaluation method and Staff Associate behavioral evaluation to determine individual development plans.
